Release notes RepCAT 1.2
The Netherlands, October 2009
Expansion of the Signaling options.
In the configuration of the RepCAT rapports have several options
been expanded. The big difference is that, in the new configuration
the signaling only starts if a difference doesn't fit in certain in
advance specified margin, before the signaling started when a just
a difference was measured.
The next options are added:
- For text values is it possible to adjust the case sensitivity.
This could be important for the file path of a database.
- For the difference in the number of documents in a database is
it possible to configure when a difference must lead to a signal.
The specification can be entered as a absolute number, for example
more than ten documents, or as percentage of the total number of
documents.
- Replications differ generally in size because of the
view-indexes. It is possible to enter when a difference in size
must lead to a signal.
- The "last-modified" date of the replicas will generally be
different. From now on it's possible in RepCAT when a difference in
the "last-modified" date is spotted to give a signal. Signalling
will only happen if the difference in "last-modified" date bigger
is then a certain number of days/hours/minutes.
Exportation to Excel
A new button is added in all the views, which exports the
(selected) documents to Excel. During the exportation it's possible
to define which fields in what order come in the
Excelsheet.
